Hi Heather!

I hope all is well with you and your family! I just wanted to let you know that Maddie has been doing so well in LA and has really come to enjoy the sunshine and all of the hustle and bustle of the city. She continues to be such a joy and is growing like a weed! The big news for her is that she was “discovered” and shot her first TV commercial today! A friend of mine is an executive producer at MTV and asked me if Maddie could participate in a commercial that she was working on. Knowing Maddie’s personality, I knew she would have a blast so I agreed to it. My friend needed a few more dogs for the commercial so I recruited a few of Maddie’s neighbors and friends for the shoot as well (I thought Maddie would be more comfortable with that). So two other dogs from my building (and Maddie) set out today for the MTV/Doritos commercial shoot and she LOVED it! There were 8 dogs in the commercial…most of them were big dogs and she interacted with them like she were 40 pounds bigger than she is…I think she knows she’s going to be “one of them”. She was so tired after all of the excitement today that she slept for 4 hours when we got home! I think the commercial is going to air on May 2nd on MTV sometime in the afternoon so I will let you know the specifics once I get more information.

Thank you again for giving me such a special little girl. She is adjusting so well…knows everyone (and every dog) in the neighborhood and has been such a great addition to my family. I love her so much.
